why is going fishing seen as a fun family activity, but killing dolphins or whales is globally protested?

why is it seen as totally normal to kill and eat piglets, chicks, lambs, calves and ducklings, but people would be sent to jail for doing the same to kittens or puppies?

why is fur seen as cruel and unnecessary, but leather is the norm?

why do we hate cruella deville and the humans trying to kill babe or wilbur, but then financially and morally support those same actions each day ourselves?

why do we love nemo, simba, free willy, bambi and stuart little, but then kill them, eat them, enslave them or subject them to a life of experimentation?

why was there a global outrage over the yulin dog festival and cecil the lion, while we do much worse to other animals every single day?

why are we so violently opposed to seaworld holding animals captive for human’s entertainment, yet have no issue with paying for other animals to be killed, skinned, burned, cooked and packaged for our tastebuds and pleasure?

If a vegan called me a murderer for eating a boiled egg am I about to jump into the sun cuz the eggs we eat are unfertilised and are basically gooey cells that won’t grow anymore from that state

ur completely missing the point. vegans don’t avoid eggs because we think they’re fertilised, we avoid them because hens are killed before their second year of laying,  bc all male chicks are killed after sexing through maceration or co2, bc laying hens suffer ovarian cancer 50% of the time and will die by 2 years old 90% of the time  due to health impact of modern laying. this happens in every commercial laying system inc free range, you cannot eat eggs without supporting harm.

Oh thank you! I could never really get my head around it but this really cleared things up for me❤️

Thank u for caring!! 😄

100 points for the non-vegan, that’s exactly how you respond to having facts presented to you

Everyone’s all for animal rights until it involves not using animals for their convenience

Sometimes still blows my mind that popular posts on this site are like “this is how you remove a snail so you do not hurt them” and most people sharing it will eat dead body parts for every meal. So much suffering that we partake in every day and most of us never learn a thing about it. Really is horrifying what the human mind will allow as long as it’s normalized

ronald-charles:

I don’t care if you cuddle the cows to sleep every night and feed them home cooked meals, you’re still prepping them to be slaughtered and profiting off that. Fuck your #notallfarms bullshit

thesiouxzy:

All animals want to live. All animals fight for their lives when faced with slaughter. The entire slaughter process is an extremely terrifying, stressful, painful experience for animals from the long cruel transport to the slaughterhouse until death. There is nothing “humane” about it! Too many people will use any excuse they can find to justify contributing to animal abuse and death. Anything to not interfere with their convenience and moment of pleasure. 🙄 The sad thing is there are tasty, compassionate vegan versions of any meat or dairy product you can think of, available at your local grocery store. Think before you eat! I’m with Ed… Vegan for the animals! ✊🏽🐾

From Earthling Ed:
These labels exist to ease the conscience of the consumer, they mean nothing for the animals who suffer and die for our purchases.
